-The St. Baldrick's fundraiser for pediatric cancer research is today Wednesday March 29th. at 6: 30 PM in the cafeteria. We'd love to see you there to cheer on everyone! There is still time to sign up to cut/shave your hair. You can even decide to do so at the event, though remember if you are under 18 you need a parent/guardian's signature. There are a number of students cutting their hair and so far the following staff members are participating:Superintendent Barile, Mr. Baland,a Mr. Jewett, Mr. Skelly, Mrs. Caparosa, Mr. Smith. Hope to see you there with your support.
-JUNIOR PROM will be held on April 28th, 2017 at the Fox Hill Inn. The Prom begins at 6pm and ends at11pm. The cost per ticket is $70.00 per student. The tickets are currently on sale, and will be on sale until March 24th. Please note that we will not be accepting tickets after that date. Tickets are being sold in room 225, and room 230. Lastly, all checks are to be made out to BHS.
- Its back! The third annual DECA Blue and Gold Carpet! March 31st at 7 PM in the Auditorium! Come see new trends, throwback wear, and today's leading formal attire! As well special performances from the school's most talented students and even the BHS Jazz Band! There will also be raffle prizes as well! 5 Dollars for students and 10 for adults! Come support your local DECA Chapter!
-LOST & FOUND: Glasses, pencil case (found a while ago), watch with jacket, please come to the main office. Also please check the lost and found room in the cafeteria.
-The Graduation date is set for June 24th Further information will be available at a later date.
-Best Buddies is having a fundraiser on April 25th! Come support Best Buddies at Maggie McFly's anytime between 3pm and 10pm, and 15 percent of your check will go to future best buddies activities!
-Seniors please return your t-shirt forms ASAP. Your parents should have received the form with graduation party information. You can also pick up another form in the main office. !
More Field Trips for Juniors and Seniors! Tuesday, April 25 - Naugatuck Valley Community College
Students will visit both the Danbury and Waterbury campuses to tour the facilities, learn about the academic programs and admissions process, and hear from faculty and students. If you have already applied to NVCC or are considering applying, please join us on this field trip!
Thursday, May 4 - Construction Career Day
Students who are interested in construction or construction-related careers should attend this field trip! Along with students from other local schools, participants will have the opportunity to speak to professionals from different trades, view live demonstrations, and participate in a variety of hands-on experiences. If you’re interested in attending either of these field trips, sign up with Mrs. Sanchez in the Counseling Office between Monday, March 27, and Friday, March 31.
-On Monday and Friday the School Store will sell fresh warm Otis Spunkmeyer Muffin for $2.00 or cookie for $1.00.
