-SNOWBALL DANCE / KEY CLUB GAME NIGHT! TOMORROW February 23rd! $15 TICKETS with $5 from every ticket being donated to THIRST. 

Game Night is from 6-9 and Dance is from 7-10. Ticket price allows you entry to both events!

-SeaPerch  is an innovative underwater robotics program that provides students with an opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science and mathematics while building an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle. Learn more and sign-up for a team on Monday 2/26 right after school in Mr. Fitz's room.

- Spring session of Driver Education will begin on Wednesday March 7th 2018.  Classroom sessions will be on Wednesdays after school from 2:15-4:15.  Driving sessions will be after school “OR” qualified students will be able to fulfill driving sessions during their study hall hours. You MUST be 16 years of age to begin the class. Course includes 30 classroom hours, 8 hours of behind the wheel training and 8 hour safe practices course as mandated by the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Cost of the class is $495.00. Anyone interested should place their name on the sign-up sheet in the main office today. If you have any questions please email Coach Cassells at

-FUNDRAISER: The Sophomore class will be hosting a fundraiser at Maggie McFly's on March 8th, from 3pm to 10pm. The Sophomores will be raising money for Prom next year, and other events and activities. Please show the attached flyer  when you go, and 10 percent of the check will be donated the Sophomore class. 

-The JUNIOR PROM  will be held on April 6th at The Ethan Allen Hotel. The Prom begins at 6pm and ends at 11pm. The cost per ticket is $80.00 per student. The tickets will be on sale through  February 23rd. Please note that you will not be able to sign up after that date. Tickets are being sold in room 225. You can pay by cash or by checks made out to BHS. Lastly, at the time of payment you must choose your dinner and table selection. All tables will have ten students. For menu selections or any questions please see Mrs. Donovan or Mr. Kwas.

-NHS Tutoring will be available during all B-day flex and lunch blocks. Tutors are available for all subjects, including math, science, history, and foreign languages. You can pick up and submit your tutoring request forms in the library!

-Painters and artists needed for a project at HHES!   If you are artistically talented and would like to be part of a project to create and paint inspirational quotes and sayings on some of the walls in the school, stop in to see Mrs. Burch to sign up and get more information. This is a great way to gain community service hours and create a lasting impact for our younger kids at HHES!  Bus transportation can be provided.
