Connect with a Tutor:  Come to the BHS Writing Center (Room 307) for help with any assignment OR work with a tutor remotely. Scan the code in the link below to request a tutor for help during any block of the day. We even offer help with all divisions of mathematics and foreign language. Give us a try; you’ll be so glad you did!

Debate Club: Students who are interested in: 

- Developing oral and written communication skills.

- Developing critical thinking skills.
- Developing effective tools for research, organization and presentation.
- Developing strategies to overcome fears of public speaking.

Friends of Rachel: Are you interested in spreading kindness through this tough time when many people are down? Would you like to see a change and see more happiness within people? Friends of Rachel might be the perfect club for you! Friends of Rachel Club will be meeting soon. HOSA: Attention BHS students: Are you interested in medicine or Healthcare? This club focuses on promoting career opportunities in the healthcare field, as well as educating students on what these occupations entail. Attention Brookfield students, are you interested in the environment? Do you want to make a difference in your community? If you answered yes to either of these questions Club E is the place for you. The club aims to better the community primarily from an environmental standpoint but in other ways as well. The NHS will be hosting a new program called AP Study Nights. Groups will meet on Zoom outside of school hours and will be broken up based on subject. The focus of this will be to provide AP students a place where they can find support for study strategies, test-taking strategies, tips for doing well in class, and assistance for specific units. Interested students should fill out this survey prior to winter break. Students only need to take it once overall (as opposed to once per AP class). "

We the International Human Rights Society aspire to educate students of all ages about human rights issues, propel social change, inspire and participate in discussion, and take action against injustices in our community and worldwide. BHS Diversity Club is a safe space for LGBTQ+ students; students of all races and nationalities; and their allies,  to discuss issues affecting diversity and inclusion at our school. This is a safe space to talk about issues, educate each other, and advocate for each other in the BHS community and beyond. YearBook Club - Be a Part of making school History! Meets every Tuesday (only the first Tuesday of the month is mandatory) at 2:30 on Zoom, anyone is welcome. Art of Thinking:  Are we alone in the universe? Can we be 100% sure about anything? Is cereal a soup? All of these questions, and much more, will be discussed, dissected, and answered in our brand new club, which meets every week on Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. We cover topics as diverse as politics, the arts, linguistics, philosophy, self-help, history, and even astrophysics! If you are interested in joining, fill out this Google Form. NHS INFORMATION: Do you find yourself putting in countless hours of studying for one of your classes and you still don’t see the grade you want in that class? Well, NHS tutoring is here to help you succeed and reach your goals. NHS offers assistance in any subject you may find yourself struggling with, including general organizational skills and tips on tackling digital learning. Simply fill out this form and Tutoring Coordinators Emily Kappel and Kylie Moody will get back to you soon with an assigned tutor who will help you via Zoom or Google Hangouts with a time that works for you! Alternatively, you can scan one of the QR codes on any of the NHS posters hanging up around the school. If you’re unsure if this program is for you, here’s some more information.

DECA INFORMATION: Do you want to compete, network, and travel? DECA is the perfect club for you! Join our google classroom (code: dglhru4) and attend the informational zoom meeting.


Scholarships!!!  If you haven’t already, check out Mrs Lungariello’s presentation with information about financial aid awards and scholarships, including how to search for both local and national scholarships. Many more local scholarships will become available in the coming months, so it is important for students to check these scholarship lists regularly!
