Tickets to BHS Home Football Games - This year our goal is to go cashless at the gate.  Please purchase football game tickets by clicking here.  Tickets online are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.  Tickets at the gate will be $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.  Please make sure that you check our GoFan page before going to an away game as many schools are also going cashless as well.  We charge for football and basketball games only.  Many other schools charge for soccer, volleyball and swimming.  We do not.

BHS Home Football Game Policies -  A communication was sent to all parents, guardians, and BHS students this morning outlining updated policies for football games.  Please click here to read the letter if you haven’t already.

Student/Family Handbook:  Please familiarize yourself with 2022-23 BHS Student & Families handbook (this is the link)  for information about our school policies and procedures.

Attendance Emails:  The attendance email address ( has been disabled.  Any emails sent to this address will be automatically returned.  Please contact the main office or assistant principals office if you have any questions.

IF YOUR STUDENT WILL NOT BE IN SCHOOL:   (The day a student will be absent, a parent/guardian should call the attendance line (203-775-7725, press 2) and leave a message by 8:30 AM to notify the school of the absence.  Please make sure that you state  your child’s name and grade… when calling from a cell phone please make sure you have adequate service.    We have been receiving phone calls with the student’s name garbled… this makes it hard to verify an absence.   This does not excuse the absence.

Absence Excuse Notes:  To excuse an absence, when a student returns to school, the student must bring a note from a doctor or a handwritten and signed note from parent/guardian to the main office.  Notes will only be accepted within 10 school days of the absence.  A parent/guardian note excuses a maximum of 9 absences after that only doctor’s notes can excuse absences.  PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ATTENDANCE NOTES… ALL NOTES MUST BE HANDWRITTEN AND DELIVERED TO THE OFFICE… EMAILS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED….

Brookfield High School Counseling Office - Please click here for the BHS Counseling Newsletter for September.

Food/Drinks - Students who bring food/drinks to school, or have food/drinks in the hallways or classrooms, after 7:15 AM will be directed by staff to put away or dispose of these items.  Students are not permitted to bring lunches out of the cafeteria to eat in classrooms or other areas without the permission of an administrator.

Update from the Nurse’s Office…. Students are not permitted to carry or self administer medications while in school with the exception of inhalers and EpiPens.  All medications, prescription and non-prescription, need a completed and signed doctor’s order to be administered in school. All medication must be brought to the nurse’s office by a parent with the Authorization for Administration Form completed by a doctor.  Any student with an inhaler may use the same medication form but may carry the inhaler on their person.

Students with allergies requiring Benadryl or an Epi Pen must have the Allergy Treatment Protocol form completed and signed by a doctor. Please bring the form to the nurse’s office. You may choose to leave EpiPens in the clinic or the student may carry them. Students needing EpiPens in after school activities should always carry their EpiPens during non school hours.  All medical forms can be found on the Brookfield Public Schools website – under forms and documents – District Forms – Health…
