Update O- BHS Transition to Remote

November 16, 2020

Brookfield Families, Faculty and Staff,

Over the past weekend and continuing through today, we have learned that 12 staff members of the Brookfield High School community must quarantine in response to being a primary contact of someone with COVID-19 or other reasons. As a result, we are unable to provide coverage for the faculty and staff who are required to quarantine in compliance with CDC, state and local regulations.

The inability to provide in-school instruction requires that Brookfield High School transition to full-day Remote Learning beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th and continuing through Friday, December 4, 2020. Our plan is to return to our hybrid model at BHS on Monday, December 7, 2020.

Faculty, staff and students likely have their devices and other materials with them.  However, should students or staff need to obtain belongings from the school they can stop by the BHS Main Office tomorrow from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Should you have any questions please email askcovid19bps@brookfieldps.org.

Sincerely,

Dr. John W. Barile

Superintendent
